I have completed a paper authorisation at my bank. They set up my direct debit and sent my form off me. Did this while cancelling the previous one.

Can it be done?
Who is insisting on the signature, payee bank or Bolton?

The form is what Bolton and other clubs use. All I know is that one was not processed because the form had been scanned and sent to Bolton . They printed and sent off to the Bank who wouldn’t process but when the original form was sent they processed it . This might be an isolated case but need to find out .

To me a move to paperless direct debits would be the way forward, so not treat it as a paper form system as that does require signatures.

Reoccurring payments without signing stuff is really common nowadays, people reading this probably have them themselves.

That really is Bolton's end though not ours.

Geoff, I think the difference between what you propose above and what Pagl would have completed to buy his car is that major companies such as Pagl's car dealers have an approved online system with edged security etc, it is a tick online and nit a print off. Sadly unless their is investment into the approved online approvals process it will have to be print and sign

If we have to use the printed/signature forms then I guess it is what it is.

Progress will be slow but a decent amount of sales with STs could get us over the 500 mark.

After that its a 1:1 getting them to fans, completed and returned.
Happy to have a table at back of club shop every home game to sign up people.
