I'll ask him when I see him but he didn't say he was having an op but said Oswell had a hernia problem from the start of this season. If it a hernia or even a groin strain then the liklihoood is a pro footballer will need an op. When I was playing I had 2 cortisone injections in my groin and that was fine to play Sunday mornings.

I await your reply after your little chat with him, because as you say being a footballer if he has an hernia problem ( depending how bad it is) he will need an op and possibly the same with a groin, he can't play a season with cortisone injections.

The thing is if he does need an op then surely the sooner the better he has it.

I guess if an op was needed it would have been arranged and sorted by now.
