They have a fantastic new modern stadium which should be the envy of every club in the National League - but similar to Bury and latterly Macclesfield, those in charge simply have to get the books balanced. Some clubs seem to be able to manage it properly - others simply can't - Bury were a prime example and Macclesfield continue to dice with death - they have had plenty of warnings - even when they went up as Champions they were not paying their staff - perhaps some clubs are gambling on the outcome - overspend on players in the hope the gamble comes off - but what if it doesn't ?
They just need to find someone willing to come in and absorb their losses for a while until they can turn things around. Dave Allen is apparently willing to waive the loans he's owed (9 million!) they certainly can be sustainable, but something needs to be done sooner rather than later. No parachute payment for them next season either.

Salford are really splashing the cash right now. Can't imagine Stockport are paying a very high percentage mind. 20% is £1k right?
