Two nil down now. Even though we slip back into the relegation zone I think if the results stay as they are it’s not bad for us. |
Fylde v Sutton, presently 0-0 which puts us back in the bottom 4, but would a draw be the best result as it keeps both Sutton & Fylde within reach?
I would say yes. A Fylde win makes the task more difficult. As it stands, they will be 2 pts ahead - but bear in mind they still have a game in hand. |

Agree, overall a good evening |
Re: National League Updates 2019/20 Season II
A bit too early to worry about other results, it is all about us getting to 50 plus points as quickly as we can.

Sheridan sacked at Chesterfield, it will be interesting to see if they get the new manager bounce when they appoint a new manager https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50975392

Perhaps they'll give a wannabe manager a 3 year contract. |

Or maybe go back and appoint a manager that walked out on them at a crucial point of the season... |

I'm amazed he's lasted this long. My guess is they're so deep in the shit financially they couldn't really afford to sack him. It'll be interesting to see who comes in now and whether they will be given any funds to strengthen in January. |

Daryl McMahon? Just resigned from Macclesfield?

Re: National League Updates 2019/20 Season II
Their community trust have just bought out the majority shareholder. Interesting to see what happens with them now. Last year's Sheridan brought in loads of players, will they have the financial clout to do that?

Re: National League Updates 2019/20 Season II
Barrow probably have a manager and a coach who value the art of passing, moving off the ball, playing the ball to feet, running at defenders, signing midfielders who can play passes in behind, having wingers who take on a fullback and get to the byline etc
Then working on them in training with the view of implementing them during games to enable them to win football matches. |

4th or 5th smallest budget in the league apparently. The top earner who is rumoured to be Quigley is on somewhere around £1500. He's certainly on less than Wrexham offered him - but wanted the 3 year deal that Wrexham were not prepared to offer. Since Barrow's change of ownership in October 2018 income has gone up a lot - for example in a recent matchday programme the Chairman said income in November 2019 was up by £35,000 from November 2018. |

The question isn't how big Barrows budget is, its how much of ours is wasted which is staggering amounts
