The FAW spoke extensively to Wrexham FC in an attempt to use The Racecourse however these attempts proved unsuccessful.
Karma.

Weak league this season, no salford and orient and yeovil and notts county dont look up to much. Real chance and we should be spending over our budget to compete with a decent side already. As neville said, spending more now to go up is more economical than spending every year! Price of the FL is worth it, we should be pushing the boat out for that bit more quality, that can hopefully push us over that line!

In your opinion it's a weak league and that's without a ball kicked in anger. It's never a weak league mainly due to cash rich owners of a number of clubs, small pitches at some clubs and lets not forget we've still got our plastic pitch phobia.

I bet you love spending other peoples money.
Maybe you'd be a bit more cautious with your own cash.

Our constitution ensures that we have to stay in the black. We can only spend what we earn.
Decent crowds have ensured that we have additional monies in the budget year on year. How that extra cash is spent is the problem.

As you say, im refferring to the extra cash we have made off eg the ward deal! No need for slight digs!

Its pretty clear that on paper teams this season teams are not as strong as last, so yes we should take a risk and see where it gets us. I don't want to stay down here forever.

What you have done is point out another issue with supporter ownership

What issue would that be? Don't get into debt.
As for the Ward money, As far as I'm aware it gets paid over a four year period in line with Wards contract length.

I’m a fan of fiscal prudence but I think there is merit to what RH says within reason. I do feel it’s a weaker league given some clubs that are well backed like Ebbsfleet and Eastleigh are cutting back and the clubs coming up and down aren’t as strong.

I’d say the league is between about 4-5 teams of which we are one so may be worth going slightly over budget without doing anything to harm the long term viability of the club.

So maybe the prudent thing to do is see where we are in January and use the transfer window to push on

Makes sense in theory but as we know January is a seller’s market and there aren’t as many players around

And we know that this club is utterly hopeless in the January transfer window.
