The (ex) PM's answer was spot on. The football authorities have the responsibility for establishing rules governing football club ownership and if those rules prove ineffective, then it is their responsibility to sort out the resultant mess, not the governments. |

I know its not National league but Bury another northern club start the new season with a 12 point deduction after entering into a CVA
https://www.burytimes.co.uk/sport/17...meeting-today/ Could yet get far worse as the EFL has from 5pm yesterday put Bury Football Club on 14 days’ notice of withdrawal of their membership from the EFL |

They were one of the favourites to be promoted last season. Coventry’s problems are ground related. Bolton owners no money to put into club. But your right that up and coming are going up the leagues. The NL is already a graveyard of ex league clubs.

Money talks but has to be spent well. Lets hope we have spent wisely this season ‘Investment’ of the kind we need isn’t there for us and the WST would not agree anyway. Ideally an honest millionaire would put money in, no questions asked or alternatively a rich chairman who will be involved in the day to day running of the club.
