Odds on the first person to say he would improve our midfield?!

Cowley brothers still on their way upwards. Now at the heady heights of Uddersfield!

Quite an achievement from their Non league roots.

Poor old Lincoln will feel the force of their departure I expect as it will show what a huge difference there is football wise between recruiting good or poor players.

Congrats to them.

To me that's an odd move for them and im lead to believe Lincoln turned down offers in the past from higher Championship clubs for them. Lincoln are 5th in League One and Huddersfield second bottom.

Fair play to them though they have done a great job at Lincoln and in a prefect world they would be the sort of management team we would be looking to bring here. Instead were stuck with part time coaches and a football golf specialist.

Or maybe the Lincoln owners will look to continue with this model and appoint replacements with similar qualities.

Imagine having owners like that...

I watched the Vanarama highlights show last night , the guest guy said Holroyd very good player and highly thought of , he did take his goals with ease and looked very happy . It makes you wonder really .

Strikers seem to flourish when away from here, it's no coincidence.

The expectation here plays a huge part in this (along with the obvious regime we've been under), we are a huge club (based on previous history & average crowds) at this level, and some players will thrive under this, others can't seem to cope with it.

The difference between us and the other large teams (Oxford, Bristol Rovers, Luton, Lincoln etc) is that they had the financial clout to bring in those quality players.

We live within our means, and as a consequence we look like we're stuck without any ideas on how to evolve, we have been nowhere near promotion since 2013.

Stating the obvious here but there is something seriously wrong at this club. We need change.

There's certainly something hanging over in this club , now a live match , decent crowd , but most players had 2 weeks rest , we don't seem to respond to good crowds , and having a rest well who knows how that will go , could be telling this Saturday .

But apparently everything is great 'off the field' (which results in nothing by the way apart from failure on the pitch) and that's enough for some. See the poll I started and some of the excuses for the failure, its staggering.
Seems some now support the clubs accounts and football is secondary. Brainwashed? Probably.
