The fact though mid way through Feb and we are still in a relegation battle whilst teams like Barrow are top and Stockport are pushing for PO places speaks volumes. The fact there is no accountability or acceptance to take any blame for the current mess is even worse.
Chesterfield v Ebbsfleet and Dagenham v Solihull this weekend, whilst we have a tough game at Bromley, good chance we could be back in bottom 4 on Saturday night with another tough away game at Yeovil following Saturday. It’s going to be squeaky bum time next few weeks. How much will that last minute defeat at Chesterfield come back to haunt us.

Shame as his first season with us, he was brilliant, then seems to have fell off a cliff.

Think he is a Personal Trainer on the side so probably focusing more on that now than football.

Reading Dixie telling Keates to go with 2 upfront shows Keates is not a manager fit to be in charge.

Did Dixie 'tell him' or offer Keates advice?

I wish Dixie would advise Keates to play 4-4-2, with Jarvis and Keillor-Dunn in midfield, and Hooper and Ponticelli up front.

To be fair I’ve never seen a person who looks more like a personal trainer than Chris Holroyd does.

Dixie said he'd discussed things with DK.
He said he personally favoured 2 up front but we lacked a real "Leader" Don't think he meant a player like Pearson, more a player in the mould of Darren Fergusson ( A name he mentioned)
How Keates reacted to their discussion was down to the manager.

Seems more likely than JND's interpretation. Dixie is the de facto DoF, so I would expect him to act as a sounding-board with Keates, who needs all the help available to ensure we pull away from the relegation zone.

I think the 2 new signings can play football, whilst Jay Harris can grab his team mates by the balls and get them working. Those 3 and Young seem to be our best option in midfield. Must hope we can cobble together a sound defence from the walking wounded.
