4 CBs would be enough to start with anyway; you'd not have more than 1 on the bench.

Why the clamour to get a fast, attacking wing back? In an ideal world ,yes. But at conference level, players that can, for 90 mins, get up and down the pitch that can produce the goods, stay fit, get on with their team mates, willing to relocate are a rarity and priceless. This is non-league so if a player could do this, they would command a fortune (or be playing higher up the leagues).
Let's utilise the players we have, in their best positions and add subtle quality to an already proven top 10 team.
Get out of this league once and for all, then sign worldie players.

But saying that, there are hundreds of players available close season so choosing wisely is a full time job.

Because every good side at this level has full backs who can almost utilise as wingers. It's how the modern game has evolved and looking at fylde, tranmere, Orient ect over the past few seasons, they all have full backs who get up and down. Every decent team we've had was the same since I've been watching, Obeng, Ashton, Carlos, Paul Edwards...

I honestly can't see us finding that elusive striker that we desperately need again. Redmonds a decent signing, but we'd need another 4 of them types to even challenge Fylde this year I'd say. Recruitment over the last year at the club doesn't fill me with any confidence

The thing that concerns me is Hughes lack of experience in the transfer market, when he joined he admitted he needed an assistant and went for BF.. Non of us know if he is still helping him.

So with Jussi going to he is like a one man band with little experience.
