I also take it you didn't get excited about JJ Hooper signing? You should reserve excitement/optimism until you see him play too.

Seems to have had a very up and down career.

Started well at Preston in the Championship with Phil Brown singing his praises as seeing him as instrumental.

He then seemed to start well for Coventry in League One before a poor spell at Portsmouth.

Player of the season at Partick and was one of their main players in the Premiership before going to Dundee United and being awful, culminating in his move to Nomads.

Just hope if he's signing that we get the Preston/Partick Barton and not the Pompey/Dundee United one.
