They will sell to us if the right money is offered though and then we hear that we won't pay over the odds for players which I'm sorry but that's football.

In January we should have gone and bought two key players and in the process destroyed someone else's team for a change, instead of it happening to us.

You do realise that championship manager isn't real life don't you?

Which players would you have gone for and how much do you think would be enough to get them and destroy their teams chances ?

I'm interested as I think you live in this online fantasy football world where you go to McDonalds buy a Big Mac and fried and get a free Milk-Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed .......

I've no idea. In terms of replacing a leader, captain material etc was what I was referring to. I'd be amazed if he went there though.

I simply cant see it as I frankly do not believe he (Pearson) is division 1 standard. For the record Mcnulty played 4 full games for Tranmere this year. Considering the step up to League1 if Pearson wants to replace a bench warmer in the same role then I have seriously misread his character.

A lot of people on here said Andy Cook wouldn’t be any good in League 1 and he’s done ok getting 13 goals in a season.

Given Walsall were relegated, you could argue none of that squad were good enough for league one

Hate to say it but if Pearson did go then that would be an absolute hammer blow to the club.
