It’s obvious that our January signing, who got goals in the Conference North and has no mitigating factors to excuse him, is just not good enough. Now we haven’t signed that other player who has scored goals in the Conference North I’m going to assume their signing is loads better than ours and trip over my lip about it.

Well so far this feels like it's going to be the same sort of transfer window that we experienced under Morrell.

Who said anything about Oswell? Weirdly enough I like Oswell and think he'd come good if he had better service.

I just think that teams on our level beating us to targets is cause for a little concern. I think it's less "tripping over my lip" and more "wishing that Wrexham would be a little more proactive".

They maybe our level but it appears teams like Fylde have been paying over the odds for players for some time, therefore we also pay more than a player is valued at or I agree we need to be more proactive identifying gems, lower down the pyramid or players released from higher leagues who are hungry for a second chance.

Over the odds I guess is opinion and also ability.
What is Rowe worth versus what they are paying him.

Same at Solihull. They are paying over the odds based on crowds but can afford that bit extra for quality.

We have x budget for y players so it dictates the numbers.
Fylde and Solihull just pump in a bit more if they need it.
