I don’t know, if there’s no salary cap, then he should be in control of spending what he wants on who he wants and there would be no need for a board member to get involved.

I suppose we will see in the coming weeks, wether or not we’ve actually got the budget to get the quality players needed to sign.

I would be shocked if BH wasnt in charge of the budget numbers and making the offer. What would be the point of anything else?

Admin wise it makes sense that SH sorts the contract.

Anything else is sheer farcical but come on surely this must be the case even for us. I cannot believe any other process is in place.

The WAFC board must not decide the players wage, just ratify it if needed.

Surely we can't 100% give the spending of such a sizeable budget to a novice ex player. They have no real life experience of operating a budget

No, we may not have actual verified facts but we can infer that something isn’t working. We keep ‘losing out’ in the league and then having ‘fairly low key’ starts to the transfer window. It’s happening again and again and we’re seemingly going nowhere. We don’t need facts to see that.
