This. Spencer has been criticized a lot (both fairly and unfairly) but I don't think people would moan at him claiming travel and hotel expenses whilst on Wrexham business.

I think he would be criticised if he won tonight’s Euromillions and ploughed most of it back into the club. He has some issues to answer, but the hounding of SH by some is very sad indeed!

Spencer is continually slated on both facebook and twitter.

If he has gone to some meeting representing the club the expenses should be paid by the club in my book as well. So long as he isnt taking the p*ss.

Agree about the hounding of SH but does he help himself? Last year we had the same discussion on RP when he and 3 others attended the meeting and Gala ball and only Geriant had his expenses paid..SH is the only one to go on social media to state he wasnt claiming expenses..No need!

Unfortunately for him, he is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t.

However, like you, it might have been wiser not to bait his distractors.

FWIW, I think anyone represented our club should be reimbursed, especially our payed employees. Should the Board members wish to pay their own way, good on them!
