We don’t need to bid 50k for players, just sign some of the better realistic free agents.

The amount of players signed to sit in the stand or gave zero impact show the current set up of Hughes,Darlington, Flynn and Jussi does not work.Flynn was a waste of time last season and Hughes needs a fulltime assistant before even thinking of the other roles in the management team.Do find it a little worrying still no assistant manager when that person should be helping Yosser to recruit.Last season our signings were late in the summer and not a coincidence that Barrow only joined in Portugal.Hopefully there is no Barrow delayed scenario again and that the club learned from it.

I think you have missed the point.
We did bid for Rowe but it was unrealistic.

Your right in general that its not going to be the norm.
What others pay in fees and wages is irrelevant.

Would we rather have 5 more players on say £800 a week or say lets just go for 3 and pay say £1,100 a week. Example numbers.

It is relevant if the player talks to us and another club. We can’t afford to waste money on players, others can.

Begs the question, are we offering the right money? Are we too scared to offer too much in case they fail? Other clubs can afford a failure.

Reading the comments on here, it all sounds so depressing.We are never going to compete with big spending clubs that have "massive" gates ( I meant rich owners),, So we need smarter rather than richer. Not sure we have the personnel at the club for that. So back to my gloom and doom I'm afraid
