Might not be a popular view but do hope Summerfield does not sign on.In Wright and Rutherford we already have 2 midfielders who are not good enough,a third liable to miss a lot of the season injured makes no sense in this situation.Calf injuries reoccur for thirty somethings-naive to think otherwise.A good passer but no Brad Walker and not a goalscorer either.

Yeh its a difficult one.
Replacing Walker is now the key here as Redmond seems attacking and likewise Wright and Young. Summers and Ruthers offer sideways stuff.

Yes he was frustrating and it was obvious he lacked fitness plus he was also unlucky with an injury.

I think a good pre-season and play football instead of hoofball and he will come good.

I tend to agree with you. The bloke has the attributes of a footballer and doesn't treat the ball like a hot potato that can't go forwards. The question is can he put in a play off performance 7/8 times out of 10 in the conference?

I agree with you. Said it in a few posts but Summerfield kills the game to much for us when we are trying to press and attack. Side to side balls or back to the keeper. Add in the injury issues and its a big no no.

As for Green we can't take a risk on a player like that with daemons which are obviously still only just below the surface. We've seen with Gray in the past that you can have talent but if your turning up to training pissed then your a liability to yourself and the club.
