Transfer rumours, speculation & associated discussion - summer 2019 II
Devone Redmond has scored 2 goals in his career. Welcome to Wrexham Devonte
To be fair he's only played 16 games.

Does anyone know what type of midfielder he is? Winger, CM, defensive or another hide and seek expert who 'works hard'?
Played in the play-off final. Seems strange that he has turned down a contract there.
Probably knows that Salford are just gonna sign League 1 standard players so it’ll be hard for him to get game time

WREX01 29th May 2019 10.22:31

Rodney is a pacy winger , did well on loan at Halifax. Him to us , Tollitt to Salford probably.

Isn’t that Rodney, not Redmond?

Ah. 2 of them :)

Redmond thinks he's box-to-box.

He's left-footed so versatile down our weaker flank.

If the rumour is true from your post he sounds like the type of player we should be signing a good age 22 and to turn down a contract with a club just promoted is good, lots of young players don't quite make it at Premier clubs like United, but they will have had a good grounding at these clubs.

Gottei Diarrhoea was also seen leaving the clubs toilets on the way to the ground, him and Barry Bumarse formed a good partnership with Diarrhoea making a lot of good runs down the wing for him.

Akil Wright was at little Fleetwood not a Premier club, it concerns me that he has been kept on I've never rated him good enough.

And that is kind of my point. I thought we wanted to sign some proven quality who could score goals? I don'tsee that in a largely untried youth player.

Think he played more than that, just doesn't seem like his wiki was updated. Definitely was playing often during Salford's run in.

Yeah why on earth we would want a player in Salford's first team is beyond me, definitely not good enough.

With our contracts do we pay 40 weeks or all 52 in a year? Cant remember.

Like when we signed Marcus Kelly cause he had been promoted that season with Forest Green then found out he was actually pretty average?

Think we're full 52. Most "part time" teams dish out the 40 weeks.

Jesus I forgot about Hurt, remember he had a few decent games at the start then completely nose dived. Macc away in the snow was quite possibly the worst performance by a single single player I have ever witnessed, that's including Watkins-Clark and Gyan.

To be fair he was older and this lads is 22. He was a star for United's Youth side. I'd be happy with this.

At least if rumours are to be believed BH is trying to bring in players of the right age.

Let's hope they are ambitious and hungry to get success here.

I've heard he shoots a lot but misses the target a lot and he rarely lasts a game before running out of steam, although he does rise to the occasion if he likes the look of the opposition.
