I'm sure they are all willing to listen to any ideas you may have.

Jonathan Hughes seems to have good business acumen, regularly see him at the games and doesn't strike me as a yes man. Normally with his Dad who amuses us by inviting players not having the best of games to "Come and sit up here by me lad".

Best of luck to all candidates in their efforts.

However What is anyone expecting?
All that will occur is a monthly meeting where numbers are discussed and the odd few quizzes and raffles.

There will be nothing to grow the club the WST board just watches the events.

Likewise on the club side the usual suspects will perform match day duties and leave the team side alone. Will the training ground be improved?

I wholeheartedly agree, some very adept business managers in that list too, but we also need new board members who will bridge the dangerous rift between board and fans that reared its ugly head since the January debacle.

The current board members don't seem to see it and in my eyes have gotten away with too much, Pete Jones has already shown he's a liability so won't be getting my vote.

Also, it appears Pete has given you a personalised section too

"I take on board those fans wishing for a millionaire owner with money to invest, but the word ‘invest’ is interesting as to how that would equate. At present any individual who has the best interests of the club can ‘invest’, by way of sponsorship; hospitality; advertising; even a donation. However, it should be remembered that members of Wrexham Supporters Trust can be so proud in the fact that fans as an entity have donated well over £1 million to Wrexham Football Club with no questions asked. "

As for the latter point picking one phrase out of a long statement showing passion and 'doing'... personally I think that is a bit unfair.

I got into trouble one year for making a 'make sure you vote and vote often' joke, but will make it again
No sucker is going to invest by way of donation. They will, not unreasonably, want to own the club.

Owning the club isn't necessarily the only goal. Its about ego, raising awareness, advertising. You don't need to own the club for that, just be associated as sponsor, chairman or whatever the donation justifies really.

I disagree. If you want to chuck serious money at a football club, why would you not want to own it?

All other people who chuck serious money at football clubs own them.

The vast majority own the stadium as well and many take out loans with the stadium as security. Are you advocating that as well as owning the club ?

Owning the club and the lease that the club hold is reasonable.
