Re: Steve McNulty
I think and I hope that Chambers is the future long term partner for Pearson especially as he prefers the left of centre position - and what I have seen so far does not disappoint.
Chambers is young enough to be on the way up - Steve Mcnulty has had his best years with Luton and Tranmere - however the way he is going he will probably be back at the Racecourse next season with newly promoted York City - that's if we don't get relegated. |

Re: Steve McNulty
Players like Steve Mc Nulty invariably end up as Captains of their teams because of their organisation and motivational skills. Don't rule him out if wants to become a Manager in a year or two. He will never have the sameplaying pedigree as our Manager, however what is Hughes's pedigree doing for us now. I would love to see that type of hardhitting player become our manager ( look at what Andy Morrison has done for CQN, boring long ball football, but wins prizes).

Re: Steve McNulty
Mcnulty has been laughed at for his shape / stature for years - we wont care a jot !
Still good enough to organise and marshall a defence for a team which has climbed from obscurity to the top of the National League North. |

Never been much transparency since the day he actually returned - personally yet to see him on match days. Hughes hasn't been a manager long enough to be left unattended and would benefit from an older head next to him not in some distant place similar to Barrow alongside Ricketts. I have a horrible feeling just when Hughes will need help the most and things aren't going our way he will have nowhere to turn and will be left out to dry - isolated from instant guidance - sometimes in all walks of life it is good to have a second opinion and someone to bounce off when making decisions - not Darlington or Oakes. |
