Although building work is not cheap. A reasonable facility with changing rooms, toilets and showers etc, Physio room, Managers office,Small kitchen and a room that could double up as an exercise room and video room should not cost more than £250k.
Dependant on the quality of pitch, drainage, sub structure, a reasonable estimate of £150 - £200k for a pitch should is feasible. Add in a second pitch which may be 4G, Looking at £300k (Guess) Security, parking, maybe a small stand(like the one we required at Colliers) and £850k seems a reasonable ball park figure.
yeh right 1985 maybe

It seems quite apparent to me that we get to vote when the board are confident we will support what they want, otherwise they don't ask us and make their own choice with our money
We only vote the WST board.
That gives them a mandate to make decisions.

We dont need to vote on these things do we?

The lease on the 'course was a no brainer.
The lease on Colliers was discussed and was thought to be too expensive to consider with all the work that was required to make it serviceable.
Pretty sure that there would be a vote on a purpose built training facility if the sort of money talked about is involved and it impinged on financing the team. (This is something I'll bring up at the AGM.

Exactly why they let us think we were important enough to have a say as they knew what we would vote for. That said it was still a misleading vote, As soon as it was passed they released more information on how much financial strain we were now under as a result, quite why they didn't release that before hand is quite clear to me. More board room manipulation of the fans

Discussed by who? And deemed too expensive by who? Not the fanbase for sure although the fans were deemed important enough to decide on the Racecourse lease. Maybe some fans thought that Colliers was worth investing in rather than training on 9 acres amongst stray golf balls and dog muck. Rather than democracy and letting us have that vote they decided for us to make sure they got what they wanted.

It's all over for me and I'm praying for change. I think some of us need to get together and have a serious think about this.

The WST claim of transparency and democracy has been well and truly exposed as total bullsh!t. Its just more spin.

They were exposed in January and I said we had to make changes at the top in the summer once we'd flunked promotion.

Nothing has changed and while the "untouchables" remain in position, this club will remain outside the EFL

Were not going to change the secrecy of the football board.
All we can hope for is better comms with the trust board because the same approach will stifle this club.

The Jan fiasco has been papered over and there are going to be no apologies, no reasons and no explanation. Whilst we can continue to mention its a bit like the dodgy owners conversation. It wont move us forward.

The priority now is recruitment and I hope the board are backing the manager with the right funds for the right players.

I think we are approaching a critical season and we need as much hope as possible.

Please crack on, I cannot wait for your proposals as the constant whining is getting tedious to be honest . Get your group together formulate your plan and the fans can vote on wether or not to accept it. Simples
