Seems like this sort of info comes out at supporters groups meetings.

I was told that it was said at a Shropshire Reds meeting that we got the equivalent of 6 months wages as compo for Ricketts, because that is what is in a standard LMA contract.
Not sure that I read that anywhere...

Just asking for clarification.

If the former, i'm surprised no-one else on here remembers it. If the latter, then that would explain the mystery. But also, if it has been said in a local supporters group meeting what's the harm in putting out a statement on it?

Not doubting it was ever said, but certainly no-one I know has heard about it.

This will be huge for us I think. Having a good, permanent training ground is a bedrock of success for many clubs. It was always Flynn’s priority and the result was Colliers. It sounds like we want to build something that could rival that.

I read from that some work is being done on the 9 acre and hopefully we'll have something at the Groves by the 2020 season.
