New training ground: club to spend initial £250k (rumour)
I thought this deserved it's own thread.
On the WST Elections thread paddockgraham stated: "it was announced some time ago we were spending around £850000 on a new training ground, initial investment of £250000". This one has definitely passed me by; does anyone on here have any further information on this? |

Yes its true money will be invested in anything other than the team

Re: New training ground: club to spend initial £250k
Surely we could buy back Colliers for that figure!?

Ffs
Colliers? That's why we've got a pile of shiite of a team. |
Re: New training ground: club to spend initial £250k
Don't recall any figure being officially announced? Is the 850k based on anything concrete? There was a thread at the time with hugely wide ranging guesses as to how much it would cost and what would be built.

Buying back Colliers and getting it back up to scratch I imagine would cost over a million. |
Re: New training ground: club to spend initial £250k
What's needed here is for paddockgraham to tell us where he's got those figures from, as he seems to be the only person who knows about this.

People moan that we have a crap training ground, club invests in new facilities, we're wasting money. Seriously can't win sometimes.

Wasnt £850k a number associated with Colliers years ago? Maybe he is reliving our long ago past still. :) |
