Community fund is for projects outside the football team. Club shop etc.
The fundholders can withdraw their money if they so wish.
The club decided to outsource the concerts to ensure that we were not exposed to potential losses. The club don't organise the concerts.
The benefit?? is that we have 3 home friendlies.
The build the budget money was spent. Don't do accounts so I'm not sure how it's presented but I think it's raised through the trust and passed onto the club.
Genuine question QR - not a dig, so please don't take it that way - you seem very clued up on the ins and outs of the club operation; are you on either board or have close connections who are?

No. Not on the board. Just keep in touch by viewing published minutes, asking questions when I see board members or staff. All very informal.
Most of the general club business is outlined at meetings like the AGM so it's not too difficult to follow things.

Best to ignore pagl, that's what I'll be doing from now on.
Can I say likewise? I didn't realise I had to do as I'm told and think what you want me to.I honestly thought this forum was for fans of the club who wanted to talk football but it seems I may be in the wrong place.

Try Red Poison. I’m sure will find some club killing types of your ilk there.

Welcome Oldfan. Lets continue the football talk and move on from previous events. We will be blaming the 3 point win rule for relegation soon and the start of our bad luck.

Mistakes were made, they’re gone and a new season heralds another tough campaign. I would like to see more action than words from the club this time as I think with better football decisions then you need less luck.

Is that a promise?

That would be great, inquests about last season should over, hopefully lessons learned good, bad and indifferent.

Now it's should be about 1 thing and that is improvement and making sure we are challenging for that title.

This is a vital period towards the health of the club going into that challenge. 2 or 3 quality signings will help, but positivity now will boost to the club and help marketing at this vital time of ST sales, membership renewals, merchandise and the new Goldline iniative. I'm sure if things go well through this period and gates hold up from last season then any lack of success won't be down to a lack of budget.

If someone mentions it I might respond

I will make some points direct to the boards but its gone and I have moved on from it despite the frustration of a great chance of promotion.

I know the board are fans just like us but they must put football and the team as our priority.
