If the board is so shite how come they keep getting elected?
Step up to the plate if your not happy, change it from within. You won’t change things mouthing off on RP that’s for sure . . .
Isn’t this exactly what Bryn’s doing? Are you suggesting we shouldn’t discuss his attempt?

Chill, it was a bit of fun. I'm hardly likely to win the Euro lottery.
We all know that posting on here is not going to change anything. Its a forum for opinions. Everyone is free to post what they feel, whether its positive, negative, whatever!
As for how they keep getting elected? I have no idea but it might be that because only a few members of the trust actually vote, then its the same people voting every time?

Not at all.
Discussing it is one thing but the repetitive slagging off of the board does grate with me at times.
It’s as democratic an organisation as you will find as far as I can see, especially in football.
They aren’t paid professionals they are volunteers & they all want the same as us. Success.

I wasn’t directing my post at you personally, in fact I didn’t even read your post.
It was a general comment to try & becalm the matter.

Fair enough, apologies.
But my first point still stands about it being an open forum.

Its been done to death on here. What do people expect on a forum exactly? I'm somewhat surprised at Mr Wonderful over this I must admit.

Although I appreciate some people are not fully aware of the obstacles put in front of people who have tried exactly what he proposes i.e. to change from within.

I'm sure I've read him not being happy with certain aspects of the government and Nato etc. I'm sure he has therefore acted upon this and tried to change them from within, because nothing is going to change by slagging them off on here. I say this without wanting another row on here and with respect.

If voting turn out is at 7% & we have say 5,000 electorate (not sure of exact figures) that’s equates to around 400 votes roughly. Which is pitiful & as you say undermines the democratic process & favours those who lobby the strongest.
Obviously the voting process needs revamping before any election is conducted imo.
Off the top of my head, handing out election forms on the gate to card carrying WST members would get a better turnout. Freepost return &/or returned at next game would increase turnout.
