Apology not needed mate & your point is right. Believe it or not we are all so desperate for the same thing.

Plus what you have said about Bryn Law there, hinting that he can't be trusted is totally baseless and I would think about what you are posting here. If you don't think he has the best interests of the club he supports at heart then I have no idea where you have plucked that from.

Good post Phil Bryn can see what's holding the club he loves back like many other fans his intentions are I'm sure goods for the club and it's fans.

In case you've forgotten them Phil,

Simply answer me these 2 questions,

1. If 30 people come forward next season saying they want to buy the club, each approach costing the club (let's be nice and be Conservative) £3.5k in legal and other costs to follow up, who should pay for this, the membership or the people suggesting they might invest?

2. The pretend investor, knowing at worst they will be penalised £2k, publishes what Shaun Pearson's wages or buyout clause is and he leaves, what do the fans think of that?

Obviously the voting process needs revamping before any election is conducted imo.
Off the top of my head, handing out election forms on the gate to card carrying WST members would get a better turnout. Freepost return &/or returned at next game would increase turnout.
perhaps they could simply allow an on-line vote ? If ,for example, you had to register your email address with your membership (I believe most have) then they could send a one-time passcode to the email address. Maybe even RP could help ? A password secured vote ?

Unless I'm misreading it the £5k fee to cover WST reamins intact. If that is the case we'd be making £45000 out of scenario 1.

Scenario 2, I agree that the proposed NDA penalty is too low, but perhaps some middle ground could be found here?

That could work.
I think it’s the biggest issue facing us regarding addressing disgruntled fans opinions.
If the 7% turnout is correct there is no doubt in my mind that the election system as broken down.

to be fair as in national elections its not really the system but the apathy of the electorate. You either accept that or as we suggest make it even easier to vote.

Thanks for the reply at least.

1. My understanding is that anything not spent would be returned. But the the point is that the opposite situation is that the Trust spend members money to potentially 105k.(at £3.5k spent each) is rather my membership money not be used for that. Its £105k that won't be going toward the first team budget potentially.

2. The cost of breaking the Nda needs to be at such a rate as to make it untenable to break it.
