That’s what business people do, Alan. They invest in the hope of generating a profit.

Problems only arise where money is taken when there isn’t a profit or sufficient cash to keep the business going.

There is nothing wrong with earning a profit from business activities.
Sensible business people don’t usually put their money into football With a genuine hope of getting a return from it. At our level, there are too many unknowns and variables.

Effectively, what we require, is an egomaniac who has earned his fortune and wants to trouser it on the football club.
It’s a crying shame the players from the previous regime couldn’t get us promoted too.

A private owner has failed miserably. If fan ownership is failing too the only option is to disband the club.
What a ridiculous thing to say, far too black & white! There are good and bad forms of private ownership, and different forms of co-operative ownership models, if the current model reaches its limit, we must evolve one that can progress the club, that IS NOT HERESY!! It is simply what must be done. The football world is changing and we are being left behind in that history we are so fond of.

Going by what AA says Fyldes owner is an egomaniac, as is every club owner of so called tinpot clubs who have got promotion from this dire league and ones still investing more.

So putting it into perspective then our club board, All WST members are egomaniacs also and every fan who pays hard earned money into the club.

A few hundred can hardly be compared to several million. But then, I guess it depends how much you have. A club with zero assets is hardly going to attract much interest. This region has its share of millionaires and billionaires who have shown no interest whatsoever. The fans are the only ones who will continue to fund this club in the short term at least, but even that is not guaranteed if we continue to underperform on the pitch, which is why any additional funds that come our way have to be invested wisely -even paying above what we might consider normally to secure the players we need.

How can anyone defend the offerings on the pitch or even anything to do with football from this present board over the last few years .we might still watch in numbers doesn’t mean everyone is happy .

So at present our coaching staff stands at
- a rookie manager who previously failed at Scarbrough
- a one day a week assistant manager who we don't know is still in post?
- a one day a week coach

And we are embarking onto a 12th season in non league and looking to recruit some quality to the squad. Sorry if I am not filled with confidence

Not a bad thing. Less people for RP to degrade or throw sarcastic comments at,or say how useless they are.
