Maybe with him having the degree and ideas for a career outside of football the motivation to play the game isn't there anymore. He could be applying but struggling to get a job with his degree for all we know. He defiantly wouldn't have done all that hard work and studying just to ignore it and play football for the next 10 years.

As professional footballers it is each players responsibility to maintain a level of fitness over the off season. If Fondop feels he doesn't have to put the effort in, that is totally disrespectful to all the other players and staff.
This, plus the fact that other players are laughing at him always being late, shows me that his whole attitude stinks and he should be kicked out of the door ASAP.

The lad is in the wrong job.

I was one of the few that did give him a bit of support last season.
Thought he was worth a chance in Jan given we had him in contract.
A better option than a fat unfit Stockton IMO.

Maybe he has come back unfit, which wouldnt look good but this is rumour and I dont know.

we took a gamble on him it hasn't worked, he doesn't seem to be helping himself which may make it difficult to off load him with out paying towards his wages.
