3) anti supporters ownership or just anti the trust as it stands now. Does not believe the club has progressed and cannot see a return to the football league happening under WST rule. These are the people name checking Spencer Harris when things go wrong. If they are members it is only to get a discount on tickets
4) don't care about any of this, they just turn up at 3 on a Saturday.

Group 1 is by far the smallest group. The current WST board are all in group 1. The club membership is poor (relative to crowds) as the WST board think everyone should be in group 1 and they do not reach out and engage the other three groups. I consider myself to be in group 2 and I don't see anyone on the entire Trust board representing us. If this club us to grow then all groups need to be engaged.
Group 1 is probably less than 5%
Group 2 is about 25%
Group 3 40%
Group 4 30%

Where i work their is about 10 reds fans only 1 is a current WST member and he is very negative since January. The other 9 have mainly been members in the past .Conversation tends to be negative about lack of investment in the team and lack of progress in football terms.

I wonder why 3,500 fans are WST members?
Each paying their £12, £15 or more in some cases.

Do we all feel owners or are we just trying to give that little bit to the club as a sense of long standing loyalty?

I wonder from ST sales how many are WST members? Do we know and if so how can we bring the others into the fold.

I think the membership issue requires a review to see what/how we can make it bigger and better.

The ownership model can then be reviewed to work with the membership.

I guess every ST holder is a member to get the discount even though many of us pay more than the discount back in annual subscriptions to the Trust. I also agree many pay into the Trust to help boost the coffers that go into the club.

What would be encourage more I think, would be a small discount on match day tickets for members, if that could be feasible due to the small margins involved. To me other than the ST discount this would be a bigger benefit/attraction than any of the other fringe benefits.

So what band are you in? Band 1 I would guess in the front row of nodding dogs... On of the leaders of the pack.

The Oracle

I'm in 3 although I'm sure that's no surprise. I'm not anti supporter ownership, I'm anti season upon season of failure on the field, the exact same mistakes being made by the board. The exact same mistakes with a blind scattergun approach to signings, money wasted on players who never play and yet there are still WST pyjama wearers defending the indefensible.
Eye watering arrogance from the two boards who are totally pissed on their own importance.

Well, I tried to arrest my apathy towards club events by nipping onto the club site and voting. Didn’t quite know what I was voting for on some of them. I regard Bryn Law as a sensible friend of the club, so voted for him. Also, one of the four people I needed to vote for, sits by me in theYale Stand. So I voted for him - Brian the accountant. Nice chap and keen.

I'm elements of 2 & 3. I can't see a return to the football league under WST ownership. However I'm definitely not just a member for free tickets and I'm absolutely definitely not up for personal criticism of Spencer Harris.
