Default Re: Football club ownership model

I went to the trust AGM a few months ago and the attendance was shocking. perhaps the average fan is apathetic now and feels that their presence and views will not be heard or actioned. I am disillusioned these days after 50 years of following the club. A bit like politics - my view is rarely listened to and that breeds a spiral of apathy.
Its time for a radical change, but then again, Turkeys don't vote for Christmas!

It wasn't the trust AGM it was the Football clubs.

3) anti supporters ownership or just anti the trust as it stands now. Does not believe the club has progressed and cannot see a return to the football league happening under WST rule. These are the people name checking Spencer Harris when things go wrong. If they are members it is only to get a discount on tickets
4) don't care about any of this, they just turn up at 3 on a Saturday.

Group 1 is by far the smallest group. The current WST board are all in group 1. The club membership is poor (relative to crowds) as the WST board think everyone should be in group 1 and they do not reach out and engage the other three groups. I consider myself to be in group 2 and I don't see anyone on the entire Trust board representing us. If this club us to grow then all groups need to be engaged.

I'm probably group 2 and part 3.

I'm a number two. And it wouldn't be the first time I've been called that!

I'll be the first one to put myself in cat 4 then, I just want to turn up have a couple of pints with the lads and see a game of football and not have to go shopping with the missus! I understand peoples frustration with the board which I think is mainly borne out of frustration from the footballing side of things as admittedly it hasn't been great (still better than shopping with the missus though) maybe a D.O.F to oversee things football related and better comms might put things right. Anyway that's just me, I'm pretty laid back about most things to be honest though.
