so say 8x23 games x 2187 final total would be £402k and depends on breakdown.

Loads are kids at £23 I reckon. Glorified crèche at Wrexham sometimes. I appreciate the sentiment but it's too cheap imo

It is habit forming, they will be fans for life. Investment in the future, and ties in with the community effort.

Although it wont be on a government or council document, but giving kids something to do for a reachable price on a Saturday is a good thing in my book.

I think that it’s wise to offer sweet STs to youngsters. I first came to the Racecourse when I was 6 and sat in the Bushfield Stand with other lads from the village. It quickly became a habit, and 2000 games later!!!
There are so many other things to do on a Saturday, plus the national media telling you that you must “support” a Premier League club. We have to fight to claim the youth of today.

MRS is a regular youth club on match day .

(I reckon the middle sections average age is in the mid 50s.)

I could not have afford to buy another season ticket for my kids under 16 if it was not for the reduction. They still attend paying full price now.

Not sure we will see this but I guess using the Tech End then adults are £12 and U18 4 so thats an £8 average - are my maths right?

Hmm doesnt look right at 50/50 but other stands will move this the U18 way with dearer adults prices.

Does anyone remember the average price from STs the WST said at the meeting?
Was Pay on the gate between £9-10?

I agree but when you have kids running around and not watching the football it's incredibly annoying

Agree - remember back in 1970 - visiting Everton - upper tier of the Gladys Street end had a cage like structure termed 'the boys pen'.
Lots of fathers chucked their kids in there and collected them after the game.
Resembled a cramped cage of hamsters in an old style pet shop window.
