Wasn't the Tech end isolated with the construction of the Yale stand.
Prior to that you could wander around the ground.

Prior to the Yale stand going up it used to be comical watching almost the entire crowd move around the ground at half time to be behind the goal Wrexham were attacking.

Used to get hairy on occasions also, especially when the likes of Port Vales were in town.

That brings back memories I was really happy/proud when we built the yale stand but missed moving round the ground. I seem to remember you could still pay extra to go into the paddock in front of the turf at half time once the Yale stand had been built but ,again, the memories fade. I only remember Billy Ashcroft as a great centre forward but he was also a rather dodgy centre half with an eye for an own goal I celebrated once when he scored an OG and got belted by my brother

Great stuff, and we always sell a couple of hundred after the early bird. Could be looking at pushing towards 2,500 in total.
