What are the odds of us signing a decent player in January? 100-1?

Notts won’t come close.

Think it’s Fylde’s time.
No doubt chesterfield will sign a few more but I can’t see why they’re favourites at this stage.
They started favourites last season. They have had a similar type of ending to the season as Orient did the previous season.
had we off beaten Orient in the league .. those 3 points would of taken 3 from them +3 for us . which woulda made u champions

But then they wouldn't have cruised their last league game 0-0. its like when we finished on 98 points, 5 behind fleetwood, but fleetwood were miles ahead of us before the last couple of games of the season. That was the margin 'in the end'

Agree, them or Solihull. Notts Co and Yeovil both sound like they're in a complete mess at the moment so can't see them challenging. I expect Chesterfield to be much better this year and Barrow to be up there as well.

If (and it is a huge if) we recruited a high quality defensive midfielder, winger and striker, I would put us right up there as well. Not convinced it will happen though.

At the moment I think we are PO place quality with what we have player wise at the moment.
With a solid back 5, we’re going to be there or thereabouts.

The next signings will be vital.
i personally dont think we will get promoted at all untill we sign a striker that can score 20+ a season.. or 2 strikers that score minnimum 15 each if we get those i think we will be challenging for the title.

we have tried signing said strikers.. but unfortunatly for u they failed when they came here. sooner we get it right and ign the right striker the sooner we will go up.

not usre if thi season be the one with fondop , grant , mcintosh and oswell already under contract for next season... thats 4 striker... so hopefully we sign at least 1 more (top drawer for this level) . i cant see us signing 2 more strikers tho ? as 6 on the books is prolly too many.
