2019 Portugal Friendly Confirmed
 

Wrexham AFC can announce that we are scheduled to play Portuguese Primeira Liga side Portimonense S.C. during this summers pre-season visit to the Algarve, Portugal.

Portimonense S.C finished 12th in the Portuguese top flight during 2018-19 picking up results against the likes of Benfica and Sporting along the way.

The fixture is set to take place at their home ground, the 9,544 seat capacity Estádio Municipal de Portimão located in the centre of the town of Portimão.

The match will be held on Tuesday, 9th July 2019 with a 7pm kick-off. (subject to change)

Entrance to the stadium will be 'cash on the turnstiles' and Wrexham AFC will confirm the entry prices in due course.

Official return transport details will also be announced at a later time.

Excellent game. Well done to whoever pulled that one off. Gutted that I will miss it as I am not going to Portugal until 22nd July. Tempted to look for flights as I know Portimao well.
