A one year deal in JJ’s case is sensible.... far more sensible than the 2 year deal offered to Fondop.

JJ had a good second half of last season, but hadn’t produced much previous to that. At 25 he needs to be producing the goods next season. If he does, he may well leave at the end of the season - that’s life unfortunately!

Aslong as it gets us promotion first, there will be better options open to us then due to location.

Not if we don't agree to sell.

We are financially much stronger, so no need to sell and now seem more capable of keeping our better players. Hopdfully, he will be what we need and he loves it at the Racecourse and a contract extension is sorted on the back of it.
