It was a vote by the membership to improve accessibility for disabled fans. A vote the WST board opposed, but for probably the only time the membership went against the board.

The most important thing is that our disabled fans are being badly let down but other aspects are also disturbing. One is the damage done to our " Community Club " image and another is the pretence that WST is a democratic organisation. Just as soon as the Members vote in a Resolution the Board opposes then cynical steps are taken to delay its implementation.

Kerry, we know, is working hard and doing her very best to improve the situation as best she can and she is to be commended.
What we would really like is for the club to accept the loss of some spare capacity to keep wheelchair users dry and part of the crowd, involved in the atmosphere.
The vote was an instruction to meet minimum standards, the Access For All guidebook for this states that wheelchair users should never be isolated.
That is all we are asking. Access that is inclusive and away from the worst of the weather.
