I would like to sincerely apologise for my posts earlier this week. I foolishly read the title thinking it was a general thread about last years AGM, something I don't particularly enjoy at the best of times. Clearly, the link is about a particularly sensitive issue and I'd like to state clearly my comments had nothing to do with this.

I was shocked and saddened to read the link and I hope these issue can be resolved as soon as possible. Having only 6 official wheelchair spaces in a ground our size is shameful imo.

Thank you Dixie that is really appreciated. We do have 32 pitch side spaces but as you will know people stuck down there can get very wet. If and when it is also very cold and that person is already in the best of health, then that is a potentially very dangerous combination. Often wheelchair users simply have to stay at home for that reason.

Experience tells us in all the support we have had that our fan base massively buys into better provision and we are forever grateful to you all for that.

I don't know Nathan, never met him but he is clearly articulate, intelligent and passionate, just the sort of person who would be a credit to the WST where he could look to drive change from within. It us too late to stand for the board now but I hope the WST consider approaching him for a co-opted role

I ve seen that at Prenton Park , they have clear dug out type shelters at front of main stand for wheelchairs etc, would this be possible , possibly even in lower GUS ??

This is all very embarrassing for the board.

They lauded themselves with the completion of the first platform and once all the back slapping had died down, talked of great things to come with two more platforms on the way.
That was yonks ago and little to no progress appears to have been made.

The fans were asked what they wanted and made their decision known with the vote in favour of the building of a second platform.

It's time the board stop ignoring the fans wishes on this issue and get on with completing the second platform and make it something to be proud of not just a half arsed design made purely to tick a box.

The club actually applied for matched funding for 3 platforms in the MRS originally. They were to be about 8 - 10 rows up in the Hays Travel Stand 1 towards each end and 1 centrally positioned.
We would ask the Club and Trust Boards what has changed from them being willing to give up all those (prime) seats 5 years ago to now being unwilling to give up even empty unused seats in other stands?

The day our club is willing to isolate wheelchair users in a corner of the ground, unused since they housed a bird of prey there, away from every other fan, away from their friends and their family - and away from the atmosphere which makes live football so special - is the day that we cease to be able to call ourselves a community club.

We are a fans owned club, for all of our fans. Let's keep it that way.

Please help us.
