Re: Centre of Excellence returns to Colliers
It should be available and the whole thing stinks. Tinpot doesn't even cover it. They should make it possible for us to train on it ffs.

Re: Centre of Excellence returns to Colliers
So the FAW, who purchased Colliers and spent around £4 m renovating it, should then give it over to WAFC for full time training facility? Do you really think that was realistically going to happen? IMHO, I'm happy that our academy now have a permanent base but would also be interested in the cost to WAFC ( hopefully it's only based on a small contribution towards running costs)

Re: Centre of Excellence returns to Colliers
It not being available during the day was covered a couple of times in WST AGMs/meetings, which is how I know. Didn’t attend - I read the points on here.
The reason it is not available to us during the day is that Moss separated the ground and Colliers from the club and then sold them to the university. The cost of leasing both the ground and Colliers back from the university on a full time basis proved prohibitive, so the club chose to lease only the ground (without a long term lease on our ground we would not be accepted into the EFL). The university then leased the ground to the FAW and they will be using it during the day. Last edited by Todd Sweeney; 21st June 2019 at 18.58:11.. |
