This is the National League and many of the away pitches we play on in the winter months are no better. Any money spent on the Groves project should be spent on the team in my opinion. An effective management and coaching staff will surely be able to produce an effective team at 9 acre.
We have got to leave 9 acres, the council are going to build on it.

Yep I suppose that does slightly effect the training facility if a school is being built on it

£850k confirmed by the board. Initially £250k and rising but for something owned by the council.

Sadly Colliers is now what it is and I guess we just need to be grateful for the FAW allowing the COE in and at least its 1 positive.

How far would £850k go on renting out colliers? So we would be paying £850k for a training pitch for 3 years then what happens after that?

Agreed but would like something for £850k elsewhere

If it's £850k just to have a training pitch for 3 years then what a way to spunk nearly a million quid down the drain with nothing to show for it after 3 years. Would it not be better to just rent somewhere for less whilst we are in the conference and the money we don't spend can be put towards trying to actually get promotion.

Where has only using the Groves for 3 years come from?
