This is the National League and many of the away pitches we play on in the winter months are no better. Any money spent on the Groves project should be spent on the team in my opinion. An effective management and coaching staff will surely be able to produce an effective team at 9 acre.

If it's £850k just to have a training pitch for 3 years then what a way to spunk nearly a million quid down the drain with nothing to show for it after 3 years. Would it not be better to just rent somewhere for less whilst we are in the conference and the money we don't spend can be put towards trying to actually get promotion.
