Numbers are beautiful.
There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1.

99% of numbers only tell 50% of the story.

Numbers dont lie 5 people with passion will achieve more than 50 with little desire.

Its just a number

Find it interesting how Redmond is 10, hints towards him playing just behind Hooper maybe

Both Kennedy & Roberts could cover centre back either during a single game reshuffle due to injury or from the off - think BH suggested some weeks back that he was looking for another centre back.
As I see it - Pearson, Lawlor and Tharme to fit two places - and that's it until Manny shows he is fit enough to play again.
Midfield has been crap for at least 2 seasons - need a proper terrier in the middle of the park.
And a pacey wide man to put in the ammunition from one of the flanks.
Will also be interesting to see if young loanees come in to add numbers to the squad as additions to permanent signings.

Midfield crap for only 2 seasons, who was the last terrier we had in midfield.

I was being generous - but there in lies a significant problem - it's getting four building blocks in place - a quality keeper, a mean defence, a solid constructive midfield and a frontline that can score goals - add to that a strong enough squad to field a strong bench so we can bring on some quality late second half to make a difference.

Harris & Keates were highly effective in the middle of the park - the bonus was Keates was in the same ilk as Pearson - talking an organising which, other than Pearson seems alien to the rest of the team. We need a big character in the middle of the field who can drag those around him through brick walls - might also take the pressure off Pearson.

We won't sign Facey and Birch, not made of money! One or the other with Carrington as back up.

We won’t sign 2 right backs. Fondop has the number 9 shirt.

Its just a number. I expect JJ to be our main CF and BH seems to say that today.
If Fondop can earn a place alongside him then great.

Looks like 1 of 2 RBs so hopefully sorted soon.
Both seem to have potential so looks good.
