Here we go. Another great announcement to our benefit.

Apparently it stems from Mold Road and the corridor (whatever that is).

Do we really think WAG is buying land for the club?

Another load of promise and no substance alert

Reality.
The Uni own the ground, do you think the WAG or even WCBC are going to buy it? If they did would they give it to the club?
Would they even redevelop it and build a new kop stand?

Are there really any plans to regenerate the Mold Road and Crispin lane areas as some previous article alludes to?
Better parking for station and access for the whole area would be great but at what cost and is there even a budget or inclination from either party to actually do anything?

This kind of scheme and cost is kept for South Wales especially because of population numbers and benefits.

The Wrexham area and club would benefit from regeneration in the area and even improved access to the Maelor at this point alongside the Uni, Coleg and the Racecourse.

What is the catalyst what are the driving reasons for this and justification of any costs for WAG? Its certainly not the club.

As part of any investment then £2m for the ground and say £5m for a new stand and other ground work is basically chicken feed.
It could be donated to the club who would then be responsible for its upkeep.
WCBC could provide a peppercorn rent and lo and behold the club could make more money. There’s positive for you but is that real?

All we seem to have seen are some nicey artists pictures and a load of talk about what someone might do.

Give me a day with 2 people from WAG and WCBC and I will tell them what we need and what they need to do with the place.

I'm feeling positive that something re the ground will be happening in the very near future. There is way too much negativity from half a dozen people who seem to spend most of their waking hours on RP.

Probably because we have all seen too many artists impressions before. I'll believe it when I see it.

Saving this announcement for next week..... So who will be leaving us then?

Weve seen it all before havent we so bound to be sceptical. If the area is cleared and new flats appear and the old kop not touched would it surprise anyone? Probably not

No it wouldn't. Take this news with a big pinch of salt but if it does happen then its a positive step forward.

I refuse to get optimistic about this news. We’ve heard it all so many times before. It will probably come to nothing and in 6 months time there will be another announcement, and on it goes.
