The funding for the gateway scheme would be from a separate (likely Welsh Government) pot.

My only concern about Glyndwr would be if they choose to act in spite because of the planning committee's decision on Gatewen and Dean Road.

For example, they could choose not to sell the key bit of land it owns behind the Kop to either WG or whoever to allow the expansion to go ahead.

Compulsory purchase mentioned in report if required.

Everyone is so excited and optimistic and there has been nothing substantiated to think this will happen. It refers to visions, possibilities, getting round a table.

I can't see Wrexham having the scope for such a place, most would rather stay in the outskirts in the countryside especially with the chance of a game being played while you stay. In a town that rather rough and battered around the edges with zombies wandering the streets.

Going to take a hell of a lot more investment to get things right.

Premier Inn are seemingly making it work and usually Premier Inn and Travelodge compete in towns.

The hotels will do their due diligence, without doubt.

EU commission is actually policing public funds used to build stadiums to make sure that no underhand activity was utilised.Liberty stadium as an example.

Yes there was an issue with Windsor park uplift in Belfast and Crusaders complained to the EU over it.
