Yes, very encouraging but like everyone else I just hope the funding becomes available and the go-ahead given, then I'll be excited!

I’m surprised this announcement has taken place without pretty plans to wow everyone.

I’d like those pictured in that photograph to issue a timeline of events to keep residents, businesses and supporters fully informed and updated.

I wonder how down the line they actually are. Have architects been instructed and if so, who’s paying for it. I feel we could be sat here in 12 months time and being no further on.

I’d hope by Xmas, at the very latest, some plans of the development are produced.

As in the article, they're planning to bring forward firm details of what's going ahead in the autumn.

Were not talking a few hundred K here.
Where is our pot then and how big is it?
Who is providing these grants, maybe Junker is going to give back a couple of Mi££ion so we can host an international

Apologies but after years and years of regeneration plans, redevelopment, WAG interest, safeguarding the land I have become immune to the plans as they never materialise into anything.

Could this be the one?
Well I only got 1 number last night so thats out.
Nothing would be more pleasing than a safeguarded ground a new stand and any other development/fixes to the current ground. However theres also going to be a cost. Were not going to get the same deal with shiny new facilities, the conference facility I assume services Uni needs, the hotel will be a franchise from the Uni so what possible revenue possibilities are we getting?

Yes its the detail but I dont see the benefits to take us forwards. At best we have a bigger stadium, higher running cost and still NL.

Time for a beer. Going to pub.

Four of the people in that photo are known for spinning yarns, spouting utter bollox and manipulating/hiding the truth.

I have little faith in their ability to deliver a project of this magnitude.

The announcement is very vague about timescales and finances. It’s really just a bunch of people, all with form, spinning a story for their own ends. In particular any story with Mark Pritchard’s name on it, needs to be instantly dismissed as junk. Next...

So presumably architects would have been instructed and funding agreed for this stage. I suspect architects would want 10-20k to design this scheme; if not more.
