Agreed, reports on the type of player he is point to him being exactly what we need to finish off the midfield.

Clearly seems to be hot or cold and the different clubs he has been at, but we should know as well as most how in can work out at one club and not at another.

It doesn't look like a 2 year deal signing though.

I'm glad we are getting more physical players - we've had years of midgets, especially in midfield

Personally I’ll give him a chance based on the management teams view rather than the ramblings from fans forums which are often populated by “tools”

The principle of the signing is great but whether the player lives up to expectation is purely up to him.

If he can cover the DM role then it’s up to Summerfield, Young, Redmond and Wright to influence the midfield going forward.

I’m sure people looking on here for opinions on Jon Walters would have left thinking he was hopeless; he did ok for himself.
