The quote was from Nomads fans. The Nomads were slated by Scottish sides for long ball tactics. Maybe the bloke can't punt the ball far enough and would like to play football. Give him a chance. BH's signings to date look OK to me. What they produce week in week out is what matters.

I watched CQN a bit last year and he looked ok to me, also Flynn has been down a fair few times watchin too.

Basically, with this one, it seems like if his mind's right, we've got a half decent player, otherwise we're left with effectively 10 men. A 1 year deal would have made more sense. Fingers crossed.

I think you can disregard a lot of fans comments about their previous players tbh.

The one thing that does concern me about Barton, and it's been said pretty consistently by fnas of a number of clubs, is that people keep referring to him as weak. A Portsmouth fan suggested he's been like that since a couple of bad injuries he got at PNE. If he's not up to the physical side of the game that will be a massive problem in this league.

We shall see. Obviously willing to give him time before passing judgement.
