Sign a PC one a Welsh national one a labour one a Tory one........

My preference is it all joined up and I just sign once (yes I am a lazy f....r).
Each to his own and if there are 50 petitions then fine but for me I would prefer it being done as part of the project and presented that way to support it.
Honestly mate, I just don't think Labour or Tory could give less of a toss about whether we get a new stand or not. As you said, the WAG must already have funding in mind though so we'll see where it goes.

Agreed. As the local Labour A.M.s have worked hard to bring this proposed development forward, this seems to be a case of Plaid Cymru trying to steal their credit.

Don't make me laugh, it's the club who've chased everyone. People were in touch with Labour AM's who wanted the club to approach them not the other way round. These AM's couldnt even be bothered to email the main players to get a meeting sorted, it"s taken years to even get this far!

To suggest otherwise discredits the work Spencer Harris and Co have done. Those involved and worked hard have signed the petition, I think tells it's own story.

Anyone willing to help our cause should be supported, only Plaid Cymru have started a petition of all the political parties, expect the Tories to voice their support early next week once it gains real traction.

For me you can have Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson cutting the ribbon and getting the praise, as long as it all happens.

Indeed.

I couldn't care less who started the petition.

To be fair to Marc as well, he’s been a Wrexham fan far longer than he’s been a Plaid member.

Let's also not forget it was Plaid Cymru who were very vocal on getting a national football museum in Wrexham, unfortunately this is going to be at the museum rather than part of a proposed Kop redevelopment as they wanted.

Labour are running scared in Wrexham, their majority has dwindled to the point they could be toppled in the next elections.

So, it's time for people to grow up and do things with the best interests of the town in mind, no matter your political beliefs , Labour have shown for years they couldnt care less. Only now because they could lose a couple of key seats.

It's time to send them a message, until that's done Wrexham will see none of the money the south enjoy.

A signature for every seat in the stand would send a huge message to Colgate Ken and chums, they've promised this or that for years and still haven't delivered anything. Not even a guarantee on funding!
Since inception the WAG is made up mainly of Labour sometimes aided by PC who these days may as well be Labour. The really is no point in fans and the local public at large whingeing about this useless bunch when they keep voting them in. PC are simply seizing a good political opportunity and no one can blame them for that.

But... we need to be opportunistic as well to grab what is being offered and pressure for more whilst they are running scared.

I think a fans petition would be preferable but I support anything that pressurises the WAG (Labour) and positively assists in bringing about much deserved and needed benefits to the club, town and region.
