Portimonense game
 

Is the kick off at 1900 or 2000? There is a bit of confusion over this. Personally not too bothered as long as the game is on Tuesday because I have booked rooms in Portimao for that night. Staying with friends who live in the Alentejo and they have given me some info about Portimao.

If you like eating snails there is a restaurant called Hollandais something (the Portuguese word for snails). Not sure if the Hollandais bit refers to the nationality of the people who run the place or to the country of origin of the snails themselves. Either way I'm not too keen on finding out.

There's something worse than that though. For a fixed price there is an all you can eat sushi restaurant. Imagine. Filling up your stomach with raw fish! Might be ok for Brighton fans but you couldn’t pay me to do that. It 's like one of the tests in that Japanese tv show Enduro.

There's also a place called Retro Ice Cream which sounds intriguing. Not sure what to expect but am definitely going to sample what they have to offer.

I see that we will have to pay €10 to get in. Why's that then? Never had to pay to watch these Portugal games before. I hope the players are aware of this because if we've paid to watch them we want to see a decent game. If the players have got to make lung bursting 30 yard sprints to make Akil's passes look vaguely accurate then that's what they've got to do. A win would be great.

Don’t listen to the haters, there’s loads to chew on in these posts. I’m not sure anybody can add anything wise about snail restaurants but it’s preferable to endless posts slagging off Akil Wright as if he’s some sort of disgrace...oh wait, we got one of those too!

Who is hating who or what?

Opinions about players performances isn’t hating. I don’t hate any player. If they’re not good enough IMO I will say why I think they are falling short. I don’t hate them. I do want to see effort though.

Footballers ability will always divide fans as it’s opinion.
Wright has improved his goal scoring and by his own admission this week needs to improve on the ball. Says it al really and he now needs to up his game to get midfield spot. He knows it with Redmonde coming in.
