Totally understand and agree. Just saying that same old isn't telling us anything new. Why not mix it from day 1.

343 !!!
Nothing good will come of this . We don’t have enough centre halves for it and we don’t have any wing backs . It may have worked for the Dutch in the 1970s, but this is us and we are in the national league.

It was mentioned on the commentary that this formation will probably be a plan B

How much of a surprise is this? Unbelievable.

What about JJ, Harris and McIntosh or a combination of the 6 as we know last seasons 3 doesn’t work as a front 3. Little creativity between them. Hope it’s not a sign of what will be.
Rutherford wasn’t playing as part of a front 3 was he? Thought he was on the opposite side to Jennings.

At this stage it’s about getting the players minutes on the pitch so Oswell was always going to be a starter.

Superb ball into the box & for some reason the defence stopped as 1 which allowed their player to ghost in & prod the ball home. Grant looks 10 times the player we saw last season & was desperately unlucky not to score. Barton was neat & tidy, can't remember him giving the ball away. Redmond looked good & JJ had their defence looking shaky along with Harris when they came on. We played some lovely football at times. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
Thanks Wilbob.

BH seems to have lots of options for the important League campaign.

Hopefully, he’ll sign a dedicated RB soon, and possibly another winger.

I am sure Chelsea U-23s are no mugs, and we seem to have bettered them.

Perhaps the worry was that they would be let loose on the Albufeira Strip. With Fondop everything points to him going somewhere else either by transfer or on long term loan

Glad to hear good things regarding Grant , he could be like a new signing.

Great to have Oswell and Lawlor back in action too.

Hopefully we sort out a new RB, CB and forward in the next couple of weeks.

What’s gone on there? Hughes changed his mind about him? Injured? Couldn’t agree terms? Hopefully somebody will ask during the interviews with him.
May be he didn't have a passport?

Why has Oswell been out injured, has he had this operation they he supposedly needed?
