But last season he looked weak,and in the air he was dominated by big central defenders.

Yes he did last season. But when he was at Stockport he didn't look like that. If the reports of fitness issues are to be believed there may be a reason for this.

He might be useless, but maybe we shouldn't write players off as quickly as we have done in the past (see Boden, Durrell etc )

Very true but strikers will always struggle when you play with a back six,Walker might as well have been called the third centre half.Very true on Boden but Durell was injured when signed and looked more over weight than ever.

Grant looks slimmer and he seems very positive, good news

Oswell had a double hernia, he will still be sore from it, can take over a year to get back to normal, usually involves a large cut approx. 10cm along your groin mesh inserted then stitched back up
