Re: New technical area
Why don't they create a huge platform in the corner of the Eric Roberts, next to the mold road stand?

Re: New technical area
For me, it looks smart enough. It should do, as its new. As has been mentioned earlier, the home and away groups will be too close when tempers and passions flare - as they do in most games. I can see stewards having to sit strategically in the middle separating them!

Re: New technical area
I assume were spending some of the Ward money on these schemes to reduce our tax liabilities. Cant quite make out how it looks or if its an improvement.
If they have some money then why not now improve the drink and food facility in the Tech End! Create a new kiosk under the stand at the back. Make sure it long enough to even the queues out. Suggest re-using kop barriers to create some queue lanes. It only needs to be a breeze block structure but I think done right would increase beer and food sales at home games and increase revenue. Also add some standing and shelving areas around it so fans can put their drinks down. Add in a couple of 49 inch TVs and it would be a great pre-match and HT drinking area. I would be more than happy to explain this to the board and were not talking tens of thousands here.

In other words, if we wanted future international games at the 'course, it had to be done. You will obviously have noted the seating but some may not have noticed the actual pitch side areas which have been astroturfed and lined to meet the minimum requirements. |
