Re: stoke game
For a friendly if Stoke fill the Tech End or is it the GUS or whatever! then take
the money off them. Great if they fill it, they didnt fill top of the Yale last time but maybe were expecting more. |

Not so sure of the appeal for the Potters fans - personally don't think it will be much of a turn out for a mere pre season Wednesday night game v National League opposition. Not looked up their pre season schedule but they might have bigger more appealing games coming up - bonus is it's reasonably local. |
Re: stoke game
They had over 600 last time from memory. All in Yale away end.
|
Re: stoke game
It's Stoke's first friendly on home soil after a training camp week in the Netherlands, so will be the first chance for their fans to see any new signings. I imagine a fair few will show up?

Re: stoke game
Can imagine the 7pm kick off could knock a bit off the attendance

Isn't Google and the whole internet thing amazing.[/QUOTE] You’re obviously unaware of the protocol for finding out basic and easily discoverable information. It’s quite simple really : 1. Ask the question in an unrelated thread 2. Start a whole new thread asking for information that’s easily obtainable 3. Post the same thing on Facebook fans chat If none of the above work then just wait until someone else without access to Google posts the same thing in a couple of days. Couldn’t be easier. |

And possibly 'can I wear white socks with sandals to the game'. |

If you wear white socks with sandals you should be shot in the centre circle. |

Where do sliders fit into this? Same rules apply? Asking for a friend. |

Just using the term 'sliders' is wrong. Wearing them with white socks screams chav. |
Re: stoke game
Stoke have just signed Tom Edwards (Huddersfield) and paid 4m for him and is likely to line up against us as well as their other six signings.

I’ll ask it in the wrong thread when I could easily just google it, but what are sliders? |
Re: stoke game
Slightly more macho flip flops !

They are the other version of a flip flop. You basically slide your foot in :hurray: There is a thong style too which goes between your big toe and the toe next to it. |
Re: stoke game
Stoke game.
Why have we opened the Tech End? Stoke fans went in upper Yale last time. Are we expecting thousands? Who makes these decisions? |
Re: stoke game
Stoke have a big following - even bigger than us. That said, it makes sense to keep their fans together and count the dosh!

Re: stoke game
Anyone know when the next bus to holywell is???
|
Re: stoke game
Can you pay on the gate on Wednesday against Stoke?
Another Facebook classics post |
Re: stoke game
I thought stoke fans went in the Tech end, or was that the Villa game
|
Re: stoke game
Does it matter? The uni end wasn’t even open to home fans any way.

Last friendly I saw against Stoke they were in the Yale away end. Thought they had about 600-700 of them. We lost about 6-1 |

Re: stoke game
How do you get the game on the radio
